The scholarship is a one-time award of $1,000 to be used towards tuition.
Can I apply even if I haven't been accepted into a Baking & Pastry Arts program yet?
Yes! Applications can be submitted while you're in the process of applying to programs, but you'll need to provide proof of acceptance into a program by the application deadline to be considered. If you don't have proof of acceptance/enrollment when you send your submission, email it to riseup@modernmountainbaking.com before the deadline. If we don't receive it by then, unfortunately we can't consider you for the award.
Why do you need a headshot if I win? I don't have one!
We ask recipients for a headshot so we can feature you on our site and social media and give you props for beginning your baking adventure with a bang. Don't get caught up on it - any selfie from your cellphone works just fine.
